Moving on After 1/6
After years of getting whipped
Lady Liberty just got her gut ripped,
Cut to the core,
Slashed deep. We feel her pain
but let's not hear any more
about this "leaving a stain"
We gotta deal with the wound.
It's starting to stink and very soon
The gangrene is going to balloon.
She's already looking really wan,
If we "move on" she'll be gone.
So it's up to us
To drain out every drop of pus.
We ain't dumb
Gotta remove all the scum,
Not just cover it with a piece of cotton.
You don't crown a tooth when the roots are rotten.
